For over a decade the Beijing and Swiss based Galerie Urs Meile (founded in 1992) has been promoting contemporary art of high quality. The programme covers most recent developments in the production of Chinese art and represents recognized and emerging artists from China and Europe.

798 Photo Gallery ¨C The first art gallery dedicated to photography in China was established in April 2003. It is located in Da Shan Zi Art District at #4 Jiuxianqiao Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing. Its unique design is based on the original structure of the Bauhaus styled factory aided by East Germany.

The 3818 Cool Gallery, housed in the space of a converted factory warehouse, is located among the complex of galleries in the Dashanzi Art District , otherwise known as Factory 798. Factory 798 has become famous as the 21 st century hotbed of independent Contemporary Chinese Art.
